What is MyQ?
The MyQ website is a channel for graduates to share their feedback about their qualifications with future students. MyQ invites recent graduates to provide feedback on their tertiary education experience. Graduate feedback helps to inform future students about how well qualifications prepared graduates for work and other destinations upon graduation.

Questions for graduates
When can I complete the survey?
Any time between six months and three years after completing your qualification.
How many times can I complete the survey?
One time for each qualification you have completed. If you don't finish the survey you can come back and fill out the survey at a later stage as long as you are within the three years of completing the last course of your qualification.
A qualification I completed isn't listed on MyQ. Why not?
- The qualification may be too new to have any qualification completions eligible for the survey
- The qualification may have been discontinued
- The qualification may not be funded by the Tertiary Education Commission
- The qualification is delivered by an Industry Training Organisation
At this stage, the only qualifications available for participation in the MyQ survey are those funded by the Government. The qualifications are listed on the New Zealand Qualifications Framework (NZQF) administered by NZQA and approved for funding by the TEC. Only funded organisations are required to complete a single data return (SDR) and the MyQ database uses the qualification completion data reported to verify the respondents qualifications.
Can I complete the survey for qualifications that I did not complete?
Can I update/change my answers?
No. Once you've completed the survey, it can't be altered.
Why has my survey response not been published?
We validate all answers before publishing them. If our system doesn't match your details automatically, we'll wait until our helpdesk checks the information. When the minimum response threshold has been reached all verified responses will be published.
What steps will you take to ensure my personal details aren't made public?
The information you provide is kept in a secure location, and your personal details remain confidential. Your response will be grouped with other graduates feedback and we will not be publishing your personal details.
Will you contact me?
Only if you have provided your email address and we need to validate your answers so we can publish your response. Otherwise you will only hear from us if you have won the prize pack.
